Additional research has confirmed that the next wave of 6″ Black Series (wave 27) is currently en route or has arrived at U.S. ports. The rumored breakdown of this wave can be viewed on our 2020 Master List page.
A couple weeks ago we posted word of the possibility of 2 new 6″ Black Series Deluxe figures coming to the line later this year, early next. With some searching via the Walmart app, the second set has been located. It is rumored that the first of these is Jar Jar Binks and the second has yet to be uncovered. Neither set is exclusive to Walmart and both are priced at $29,99. More info to come when available.
Sponsor Entertainment Earth has opened preorders for some older, hard-to-find TBS figures and recent Vintage Collection figures. Figures include Clone Commander Wolffe (TBS), Commander Gree (TBS), General Grievous (TBS), Gamorrean Guard (TBS), Cara Dune (TVC), and The Mandalorian (TVC). An interesting observation was made regarding the packaging design for the new Black Series 4.0 assortment. Hasbro may be hinting at future accent color usage in the line as the top right tab on the packaging doesn’t match the overall color accent of the box.

Hasbro has just announced via Instagram they they will be having their Hasbro Pulse Con on September 25 & 26 where they will be having new official reveals and exclusives from Star Wars, Marvel, Transformers, G.I.Joe and more.
Target stores began putting their new Galaxy’s Edge product out today (new end caps set up in many instances). I picked up most of what I wanted, and saw several other collectors grabbing some new goodies as well.

I posted this comparison earlier via social media and I think it’s worthy of discussion here as well. If you take into consideration all of our rumored /unconfirmed Vintage Collection (TVC) and Black Series (TBS) action figure related items coming between now through 2021, the lines look as follows:
TVC: 31 rumored/unconfirmed
TBS: 42 rumored/unconfirmed
We don’t know how many of both lines are repacks/repaints, and if you remove the 4 additional TBS Credit Collection we just reported today, the balance overall is just barely in the Black Series favor. Interesting.
No, this is not an agency that repeatedly calls you for insurmountable debt you’ve accumulated, a couple days ago we reported the discovery of a new 6″ Black Series figure “Mando Berry” in Target’s system and it looks like there’s more info to share regarding this figure and the new “Credit Collection” to which it belongs.
