Toyguide Update: CW50 Barriss Offee
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of Barriss Offee from The Clone Wars Collection
PROS: Fantastic esthetically and the likeness is near perfect for the animated character. The fabric for the skirt is some of the best I’ve see in the modern era of collecting.
CONS: This will be a sticking point for some – articulation. There are no knee or ankle joints and the elbow only feature simple swivel joints.

VC41 Stormtrooper Running Change
Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives have posted a discovery from one of their reader which shows that Hasbro has made some tweaks to the helmet and deco for the Stormtrooper (VC41) in the Vintage Collection. CW49: Riot Control Clone Trooper
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of the Riot Control Clone Trooper from The Clone Wars Collection
PROS: Clone uses the original super-articulated trooper body. Great accessories and deco. Baton attaches to shield for easy storage.
CONS: You’ll want a few but finding them in quantities at retail, at least initially might take a bit of work.

VC34 Jango Fett
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of Jango Fett from the Vintage Collection’s Attack of the Clones wave (Wave 4).
PROS: Pretty much the definitive Jango in terms of sculpt and accessories. Re-worked, scene specific gauntlets are a nice touch as is the new jetpack and missile.
CONS: The gauntlet blades are not removable (i.e. they are deployed all the time). Overall color of the jumpsuit seems to still be “off” a bit but it’s a vast improvement over the grape flavored version included in the recent Geonosis Arena set.

Hasbro QnA Relaunch
As we teased a couple weeks ago, Hasbro has officially relaunched the Star Wars QnA!

Finally, we’ve fixed the hyperdrive, and we’re ready to jump into lightspeed! And by lightspeed, I mean, Hasbro’s 2011 Star Wars Q&A! The first round of submissions are due this Friday, April 29nd at 10:00AM EST.
