Target stores (and likely soon, Toys”R”us) are putting out some great new LEGO displays to help promote the LEGO Star Wars line. These displays really show off the greatness that LEGO has to offer and to help boost sales of their bigger toy offerings – check out a couple images in our forums.
Hint for Hasbro: This is yet another avenue you may want to consider exploring as you look to regain the interest of kids in your product lines.

The 3.75-inch Black Series is looming and new packaged shots are being released of the first wave of figures with Padme, Biggs, Luke, Vader, and more. But despite the eagerness of Star Wars collectors for new figures, fans are having a mixed reaction to the new packaging for these figures. LEGO today officially announces the Ewok Village set!
Travel to Endor™ and visit the treetop home of the Ewoks. Just like in Star Wars™: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, this recreation of the Ewoks’ forest dwelling is packed with cool functions, including the tree-trunk hideout, secret Lightsaber stash, spider web, net traps, slide, catapults and an elevating throne. Use the rammer function to take out the Scout Trooper’s speeder − just like in the movie! Realistic details include rope walkways, vine and leaf elements, kitchen, food storage area, bedroom and a planning room.

This week in New York City LEGO revealed the largest Star Wars LEGO set ever–a life-sized X-Wing! Accompanied by a much more modestly sized Toys R Us Times Square exclusive set, and Yoda mini-figure, this spectacle was all to promote Wednesday’s premiere of The Yoda Chronicles on Cartoon Network. On this week’s Star Wars Action News podcast Marjorie and Arnie review some of the exclusive LEGO sets commemorating the premiere.
