Word on the street is that LEGO is sending out new “mystery box” promo sets to select affiliates in preparation for the LEGO Star Wars The Yoda Chronicles event airing on Cartoon Network on May 29. The team at Eurobricks.com have posted several high-res images of a new Jedi Defender-class cruiser due out later this year. The set is based on the Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO game and includes 4 mini-figures, 3 of which are new.

An image has surfaced of a new LEGO polybag set featuring a Hoth Han Solo (brown coat) rumored to be released as part of the annual May the 4th celebration.

Our friends at Galactic Hunter have posted image on Facebook of this year’s LEGO Exclusive. The set is based upon the upcoming Yoda Chronicles mini series. It is limited to only 150 pieces. Bummed I am that I missed this. : (
It is hard to believe we are only a few short days away to providing our coverage of this year’s Toy Fair in New York. There have been a lot of shake-ups in the collecting landscape since last year so hopefully we’ll get some clarification and reassurances from Hasbro that all is not lost as we head into 2013 and beyond.
Hothbricks has posted images of the upcoming Jek-14’s Stealth Starfighter and AT-TE sets from LEGO. The Stealth Starfighter is a set based on the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles mini series on Cartoon Network. It includes a Jek-14, Separatist Bounty Hunter, Special Forces Clone Trooper and R4-G0. The new AT-TE includes Mace Windu Coleman Trebor, Clone Trooper Gunner and 2 Battle Droids.
After a brief delay, the LEGO Star Wars Umbaran MHC (Mobile Heavy Cannon) has started showing up at stores. For some reason this set took a little longer to hit shelves (here in Minnesota anyway), but I managed to find this set at Target yesterday for $49.99. Click the image above for a closer look.
