Back in January it was announced that Disney was postponing/canceling the release of Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith in 3D. But now, if you are one of the fortunate attendees of this year’s Celebration Europe II, you are in luck as they have announced that Episode II in 3D will be presented at the event.
Tech site Kotaku is reporting that Disney has closed out the LucasArts division, laid off its staff and has cancelled all current projects including the anticipated Star Wars: 1313 game.
Disney Park’s official blog has posted details of the new Star Wars merchandise available at Star Wars Weekends starting May 17, 2013. Within the items revealed, take note of the 3-3/4″ scale Mickey’s Jedi Starfighter that will serve as a nice companion piece to the Jedi Mickey and R2-MK 2-pack that was released in 2010.
After 5 years and 100+ episodes, the Official Site has updated today with the announcement that The Clone Wars is coming to an end. Fear not, The Clone Wars isn’t dead… not yet. They have also announced that they are continuing in the production on a few final episodes that will air (location/dates TBA) to conclude some of the arcs and stories that need to be told. These final episodes are promised to be the best in the series.

Our friends at JediNews are reporting unofficial word that The Clone Wars series has indeed drawn to a close after last week’s amazing season 5 finale. For some, this is welcome news and for others (including myself) it is very sad revelation. Head on over for their report.
As Season 5 of The Clone Wars draws to a close, the action and emotion of the series has never been better. Now it looks like the Jedi will have to face off against one of their own while dealing with being shut out of military decisions that will have irrevocable effects on the future of the Republic. Deadline.com has posted an exclusive rumor/report stating that due to the lackluster reception of Episode I in 3D there will no further prequel 3D releases and instead focus their resources on production of the sequel trilogy. Again, this is an unconfirmed rumor at this point so stay tuned for further developments…
