It appears that some orders processing out of Amazon warehouses are forgoing shipping boxes and just slapping the labeling right to the TVC packaging. Check out this post at Rebelscum for an image that will shock and amaze. If your order hasn’t processed yet, I strongly suggest you call and request your order be packed out correctly.

On display at SDCC is the first the Stormtrooper (teased yesterday by YodasNews) and word from Rebelscum is that they are working on Darth Vader featuring its signature vinyl cape and telescoping lightsaber.

Update: S.H.Figuarts Yoda Not Coming Soon
BANDAI’s S.H.Figuarts line looks to be breaking into the Star Wars universe with this teaser on Tamashii Nations’ blog. For the uninitiated, S.H.Figuarts produce a line of figures that are intended to replicate, with precision, the natural movements of the human body. It will be interesting to see their approach with Yoda’s species.
Thanks to Geof from the SWActionNews Facebook page for the tip.
Update: Based on the page translation, this image is nothing more than the avatar for the author of the article. Thanks to Rebelscum for the clarification.

Mission Series Wave 1 Images
The crew at Rebelscum have posted a set of high-res images for the upcoming “Mission Series” assortment of reduced articulation two-packs due later this year. This first wave includes Darth Vader with Seeker Droid, Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader) with 501st Legion Trooper, Jango Fett with Battle Droid and 212th Battalion Clone Trooper with Battle Droid.
While it goes without saying this new direction Hasbro is taking with a segment of the action figure line has many long-time collectors jumping ship, I for one appreciate the aesthetic, the overall reduced cost and its kid-targeted focus.
Post Yoda Line Look Revealed?
Rebelscum has posted a brief image gallery featuring various Star Wars products shown at the UK Toy Fair. Within the images I noticed something strange… it looks as though several different products (Uncle Milton,Dagedar, plush figures) are using stylized Darth Vader with lava artwork for their packaging. Is this our first glimpse at the post-Yoda line look? Stay tuned for more info as it develops.

Discover the Force G8-R3 Harness Variant
While photographing and reviewing the Walmart Exclusive G8-R3 a couple weeks ago, I noted that the power harness for the figure did not match the other harnesses included with the Royal Astromech Droids in terms of paint details/color.
After looking on ebay and reviewing similar image galleries at both Jedi Temple Archives and Rebelscum, I thought I might have inadvertently photographed the wrong harness for the toyguide since I gathered all of the related Naboo astromechs for a group shot.
I solicited my friend Paul at JTA for assistance as he happened to have a few G8’s on card to see if he spotted a variant amongst them and sure enough there was!
As you can see in the side-by-side image, the details on the harness “arms” have different details on the hub section and there is also a different red/green light configuration on the front of the harness arms (not visible in the carded photograph).
You can count on us adding this variant to our G8-R3 entry as soon as I can track one down for myself as all of the versions in my area have had the missing paint details (shown on the left).
Which one do you have? Leave a comment or a post in our forums. We welcome responses on facebook as well.
