Retro Escape From Death Star Game Now Available at Target.com
For those looking to complete the Retro Collection carded set, Target.com is now has the Escape From Death Star Game with Exclusive Grand Moff Tarkin available for purchase.
Vintage/Retro Chewbacca Size Comparison
It seems like a fitting time to bring this up considering the news from earlier. A quick side-by-side comparison of the new Retro Collection Chewbacca vs. the original Kenner mold shows that the Retro model is noticably smaller in stature than the figure it pays homage. The differences also extend to sculpting of the fur and his iconic Kenner bowcaster.
Retro Figures Update: Not Exclusive to Target
Hasbro has updated their info for the new Retro Collection assortment of figures. They now state (via press release) that Target will have these this month but online/fan channel retailers will offer them in the Fall.
Update 2: These figures are now available for purchase in-store (at those stores that have them anyway) as they have been removed from “register-locked” status.

Instagram user yodaskid reports finding the new Target Exclusive Retro Collection figures at his store in California (West-Covina-South). They are register locked for sale until 5/12.
Retro Collection Death Star Game Found
Instagram follower handsome.costanza reports finding the new Retro Collection Escape from the Death Star game with Grand Moff Tarkin at Target in Dallas Fort Worth for $19.99.
Also of note, the sticker looks to be removable, though not easily, thanks to this tweet from cyarnell26
Star Wars Retro Kenner Collection Preorders Available at Target
We were the first to tell you about these yesterday but Target.com now has the Star Wars Retro Kenner Collection available for preorder. The first wave consists of Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and Stormtrooper. Release date is May 12. Look for more in on the amazing assortment today ay Toy Fair 2019.
