After Hasbro’s big reveal at SDCC with their massive 6″ TIE Fighter, we’re curious what our readers think… is this a “must have item” or are you disappointed that they are making this $170 toy after telling us for years that things like a Death Star playset, Sail Barge and other 3.75″ items can’t be made?

At 1pm, Topps will be giving away their new Star Wars Galactic Connexions trading discs to 50 lucky fans. The disc features the First Order Stormtrooper which will only be available at SDCC in an extremely limited quantity of 250. Topps Star Wars Galactic Connexions will be on sale on Force Friday, September 4th exclusively in Walmart with 85 characters to collect.
Next up – Topps will be hosting Steve Blum, the voice of Zeb from Star Wars Rebels, at booth 2913 at 3:30pm. He will be signing Topps cards for the first 50 fans.
Also, Topps has oversized vintage style cards for sale. There are ten sets to collect, each with ten cards for a total of 100.
Did you miss the SDCC panel for The Force Awakens? Admittedly it kills me to have missed it but Disney/Lucasfilm did fans a solid and posted the behind the scene video for all to loop.

Hasbro will be selling their SDCC Exclusives including the First Order Stormtrooper via HasbroToyShop starting July 28. There is no need to constantly refresh their site immediately following SDCC. But still, plan accordingly.
ToysRUs has gone live with there SDCC Exclusive items including their 3.75″ Black Series Jabba’s Rancor Pit set.
Rebelscum has posted a great gallery of images from tonight’s SDCC preview. And while there is nothing new on display in the action figure department. there are a lot of promising place holder displays for the Black Series 6″ line. Look for those to be revealed on Friday afternoon.
