New images and artwork for The Force Awakens have hit the web in the last few hours. One of them is surely official as it was printed in the Celebration Anaheim program, but the others are as-of-yet “unofficial”. Click on through to check them out. Spoiler Warnings Apply
Rumors are rolling regarding upcoming products to be featured at Celebration Anaheim. The latest is that Gentle Giant is planning on releasing R2-D2 as part of their Life Size line of Kenner figure statues. Look for more info on this in the coming days.

Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives and Jedi News are on the show floor for Celebration Anaheim’s Preview Night and the have provided a great detailed look at new revamped packaging for the 6″ Black Series. It is 1000X better than the orange and blue versions to be sure. Head on over to their respective sites to check these out as well as carded images of The Black Series.
Our friends at JediNews are on the floor at Star Wars Celebration and have been snapping photo of the set up progress. One image caught my eye in particular as it appears that The Black Series is getting a color change again from blue to red and possibly a switch to Chewbacca from the current TIE Pilot. Judging by this ad I noticed on the StarWarsCelebration site, Build-A-Bear looks to be offering Celebration exclusives as well as an opportunity to pre-order the next collection of Star Wars-themed Build-A-Bears. Check them out at Booth 1314.
The Wall Street Journal has posted the first look and LEGO Group’s upcoming line of buildable Star Wars figures.
At the Star Wars Celebration festival beginning Thursday, four new Lego Star Wars large scale, buildable figures will be unveiled — Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, Jango Fett and Clone Commander Cody. Speakeasy has an exclusive first look at Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous. The General Grievous set includes 186 pieces, and Obi-Wan Kenobi includes 83 pieces.
Two additional sets, Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, were unveiled in February at the New York Toy Fair. All six sets will be available in September, with prices ranging from $19.99 to $34.99.
