For a while now, it has felt to me that Hasbro’s pricing is out of control. I feel that way even more now after going shopping with my son over the weekend when he decided he wanted “more bang for his buck.”

Hasbro’s new Jurassic World line has been spotted at Toys”R”us, apparently breaking a “street date” of May 11. Head on over to the forums for a closer look at some of the toys they had already put out – and share your thoughts on Hasbro’s performance with these dinosaurs in the forums!
Toys”R”us stores are starting to jack up the price on the single Legends figures. While other retailers have kept these in the $6 range, Toys”R”us apparently thinks they can get quite a bit more. The price is pretty outrageous, in my opinion, especially since this line is supposed to be more economical for the kids (so we’re told).
Head to the forums to see what these will probably ring up for at the register if you decide to purchase any of these at your local Toys”R”us, and share your thoughts!
Tonight I swung by Wal-Mart, and questioned why I even waste my time there anymore. But to my surprise, I walked by the pallets and saw a fresh case of Wave 1 Rebels figures. Perhaps this is an isolated chance of dumb luck, but I’m sure we’ll be seeing other similar reports soon – so it may be worth your while to add Wal-Mart back to your occasional toy runs… because this toy run dry spell can’t last forever.
Forum member Jodo checks in with a new store report – he spotted the Mission Series Wicket/Scout Trooper 2-pk at his local Target in Edwardsville, IL.
Personal Note: Both reports I’ve seen so far indicate to me, Target is still splitting cases at distribution centers. Hopefully we’ll see evidence of some actual FULL cases shipping to Target stores again soon!
Toy runs at places like Wal-Mart and Target may be a complete waste of time for most of us, but if you have Walgreens stores in your area, it’s definitely worth swinging by to see what the situation is.
Most stores receive at least one delivery each week, and are often getting in a few Black Series figures with each shipment – just today, reader Darth Stringfield spotted at one Walgreens store a more interesting selection of figures than I’ve seen at all the local Target stores combined over the past year.
How are those Store Finds going? Let us know in the forums!
$14.29 is now the price of The Black Series 3-3/4″ figures at my Target and there they will stay. Target.com is also now charging $12.99 per figure as well, while ToysRUs.com is still (for the moment) charging $9.99.
