Today, Disney Stores and ShopDisney.com have dropped the next releases for their exclusive Elite Series Diecast line. Choose from C-3PO or Rose Tico and BB-8 – both based on their appearance in Star Wars: The Last Jedi! Next week, look for Captain Phasma to once again hit shelves.
Facebook member Jonathan S. reports finding wave 14 of the 6″ Black Series line (Snoke, Jaina, Rose) at Meijer in West Lafayette, IN.
Sideshow Collectibles is now taking preorders for Hot Toys’ Sixth Scale Praetorian Guard (with Double Blade) and Praetorian Guard (with Heavy Blade) figures. Both figures include a wide array of interchangeable parts, weapons and two unique helmets. Each figure retails for $205.00.
Target has quite a few sales going on this week in the Star Wars section, but perhaps none are as enticing as the deals on Hasbro’s 3.75″ vehicle assortment.
Personal Note: If you’ve been holding out on these, now is the time to take the plunge (besides, Hasbro did a great job on these, so go ahead and drop a bit of cash, they are totally worth it!).
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of the Target Exclusive 3.75″ Force Link Return of the Jedi Battle Pack Set.
PROS: Three all new figures in one 3.75″ battle pack?! Releases like that come too few and far between and this one excels. Both Emperor Palpatine and Luke benefit greatly from having two additional points of articulation (wrists) and the inclusion of the swappable force lightning hands is perfect. The sculpting for The Emperor shines above the other two figures as the texture captured in his robe harkens back to the detail applied to figures from The Phantom Menace. The results yield one of the best 3.75″ Emperor figure ever produced. Luke is not too shabby either as his proportions are nicely captured as well as the classic ROTJ Hamill likeness. Rounding out the set is the Royal Guard, which again is an excellent example of the character and I’d love to get my hands on a few more. Force Link phases are what you’d expect – classic lines from ROTJ and Palpatine also has one from The Phantom Menace. The set is also priced well for an exclusive that includes 3 new figures.
CONS: None to speak of really other than the ERG’s limited Force Link effects and maybe the Luke’s hair color choice.

T.J. Babinetz from the Star Wars 6″ Black Series Facebook group also reports finding this wave at Walmart in Mississauga, Canada. Time to step up those toy runs!
Black Series Collectors Facebook member Dave I. reports picking up part of the new wave of 6″ Black Series figure at Toys”R”Us in Nashville. He was able to score Resistance Tech Rose (#55) and Jaina Solo (#56).
