Yakface Reader Nic S. writes in to report finding new Star Wars Earbuds at his local Walmart. There are 4 styles to choose from: Darth Vader, Yoda, Darth Maul and C-3PO and retail for about $10 each. These were originally shown as mock-ups at Toy Fair 2012 by Jazwares.

I may be in the minority here, but even though these are a step backward in terms of articulation, I still really like these figures. If only the drop in POA would equal a drop in price too. : (

Hasbro has finally released the Toy Fair 2012 Star Wars Presentation to all fan sites. Obviously you’ve seen everything by now but it’s still worth sharing. Click on over to our show coverage gallery for all the slides.
Hasbro has issued a pre-Toy Fair press release announcing several new products spanning all of their licenses. For the Star Wars brand, they’re pushing the Fighter Pods pretty hard but also a new line called STAR WARS AMP’D due this fall. From their press release:
In fall, kids can gear up for battle with STAR WARS AMP’D. For the first time ever, kids will be able to quickly and easily customize the most iconic STAR WARS vehicles and prepare them for any mission: land, space, sea or air! In 2012, the line features 9 figures and 6 vehicles.
