Even as the holidays quickly approach, the deluge of collecting news and speculation is flowing as fast as ever. On this week’s show, Flyguy and I break down the latest info from Hasbro, Sideshow, Bandai, S.H.Figuarts, Hot Wheels, and more. Gentle Giant looks to be teasing some great product for 2015, what it is exactly is anyone’s guess but we are giddy in its potential. The biggest news of the week though was the (partial) character names released for The Force Awakens. What do they mean and will we have to “unlearn what we have learned” based on prior speculation and leaks? Black Series Vader Neck Issue Fixed

Despite opinions to the contrary, the Black Series Darth Vader (#26) suffered from a horrible neck design that essentially rendered the figure to “look, don’t touch” status. We are very happy to share that Hasbro has indeed addressed the known issue (by their admission) and the Black Series #03 Vader now features an updated sculpt with longer neck peg.

On this very special episode of The Realm Recap, Flyguy and I give our first impressions of all that was revealed from Hasbro at their NYCC ’Twas the Night Before Party. There is a lot to take in this year (for a nice change of pace) with several new offerings from 6” and 3.75” Black Series line, 3.75” Saga Legends/Rebels line and Mission Series assortment. Plus, we get confirmation on a few additional 6” and 3.75 Black Series figures for 2015 and some that have been cancelled.
