Yakface and Flyguy are back after the holidays and the release of Rogue One to ring in the new year with the latest in Star Wars collecting and news – including the 40th Anniversary of A New Hope. New, unannounced items have been hitting retail as well as huge clearances. This and much more on Episode 108 of The Realm Recap.

PROS: Excellent sculpting and deco, and the lights are a perfectly festive touch. LED lights are bright and the button batteries are included (preinstalled). 3 lighting modes give the collector options, although I suspect most will choose the solid (non-flashing) setting.
CONS: Must be a PG Member to purchase ($120) which will probably drive the after market price higher in the future. Fragile antennae could easily break if not handled properly.
Head to the toyguide for the full image gallery (and our YouTube page for a video) to judge for yourself whether this bust is worth adding to your collection.
Yet another TV spot has been released. “Strap In” features additional footage not yet seen plus a tag line of “this film contains scenes that may be too intense for younger viewers”.
Once again, The Realm Recap return this week with the latest in Star Wars collecting. This week, we discuss various reveals and store reports for the Hasbro, as well as new product announcements from Hot Toys, S.H.Figuarts, Kotobukiya and more. Finally, Flyguy and I share our latest acquisitions and reviews since our last show. This and much more on Episode 106 of The Realm Recap.
Friend Chris Pirillo has posted his first look demo of the new Rogue One Rapid Fire AT-ACT from Hasbro (courtesy of Disney). This item is not yet available in stores, but look for it later this fall. Head on over to his YouTube channel or watch above to check it out.
Another midnight product launch has come and gone, but the news is not over as we are back this week to discuss the latest developments in Star Wars collecting. Rogue Friday proved to be a more subdued, but more satisfying experience for many this year as stores seemed to have a good amount of merchandise to satiate needy collectors. Flyguy and I discuss our experiences as well as several announcements that came in the hours before and after Sept. 30. Enjoy the super-sized, and wallet draining Episode 105 of The Realm Recap.
