SDCC 2025 Hasbro Star Wars Panel Reveals

Apart from announcing the TVC Haslab Republic Gunship, Hasbro revealed several products today for the Black Series and Vintage Collection lines. All of the items after the break are available for preorder tomorrow (July 26) at 5pm ET. Direct links will be shared at that time.

The Stranger has been the most anticipated figure from the most widely panned show in the Star Wars universe, The Acolyte. That said, the figure looks fantastic and has multiple display options thanks to removable/swappable accessories, including a Qimir portrait. If you needed any one figure from this series, this is it.

Asajj Ventress gets a whole new look and now sports her bounty hunter appearance from The Clone Wars. She features removable helmet and dual lightsabers.

Jango Fett has been one of the most requested figures to get a full rework to bring it up to today’s standards and sculpting technology. This all new version features updated articulation including butterfly joints and vastly improved likeness. Hopefully this simple man makes his way into your collection.

The latest entry into the Clones of the Republic subline features a reissue of Anakin Skywalker from Ahsoka and a Phase II Captain Rex this set is exclusive to Hasbro Pulse (and later, Disney Store).

The Darth Vader & Luke Skywalker set is sort of a reimagining of the previous Masterpiece line, complete with a playset/vignette base. Here the figures are fully articulated with Darth Vader using the superior and underused TBS TESB sculpt and now features a wired cape for the first time. Luke Skywalker (Bespin) is nearly all new with battle damage and removable hand.

Han Solo (A New Hope) was pipelined ages ago and now gets a full reveal – with mixed reception. Consensus seems to be he looks to “old” and not quite thin enough to match his Episode IV appearance. I’ll reserve judgment until he’s in hand but he does look “off” to me in these official images.

Chewbacca (A New Hope) was also pipelined a long time ago in a fanstream far, far away. Improvements for Chewie include new legs (barbell hips & rocker ankles) and head as well as a new cardback photo to freshen the look a bit.

The Imperial Shock Trooper (VC374) utilizes the newest clone trooper body.

Haslab TVC Mos Eisley Cantina Packaging

Lastly, we also got our first look at the packaging for last year’s Haslab – The Mos Eisley Cantina – which will be heading to collector’s homes in the Fall as well as a poster that completes this years’ Return to Tatooine campaign. Emily also teased that despite the ending of the Tatooine program, more Cantina characters are in the works.
