As a follow up to Sunday’s exclusive report on the upcoming Target Exclusive 6″ Black Series The Mandalorian (Copper) figure, I received an image privately of this figure. It confirms my speculations that the figure and box are in fact unique – the figure has a metallic/pearlescent sheen to the entire figure and the box is a metallic, penny copper color. Like the exclusive Second Sister Inquisitor, the box also features the callout circle and in it there are multiple translations for the word “Carbonized” – this term is what I assume the powers that be are calling this line of special edition exclusives. This figure is reaching Target stores now and should be available on October 4.
Back in April, we reported on a potential exclusive code named “Dublin N Prov” being listed in the EB Games system. Recent reveals confirm that “Dublin” is the code name for C-3PO in The Rise of Skywalker, which lead to the assumption that “Prov” or “Providence” would be R2-D2. This is not the case. Shipping info that I was able to find today, reveals that this is a two-pack of some sort with the aformentioned C-3PO and a new character named Babu Frik.
I know nothing about this new character but there must be some relationship to the protocol droid that plays out in the film. Will this be angry eyes 3PO or the “Rambo” version with additional accessories as seen on some artwork? No word yet on where this will be offered in the U.S.
Today’s sleuthing of shipping records as has revealed that figures which we’ve previously rumored are currently headed to the US.
These coded characters names include: “Bruges Red – Metallic” – Sith Trooper (TROS)* “Bruges Rocket – Pearl” – First Order Jet Trooper? (TROS)* “E6 Luke Skywalker” – Luke Skywalker (ROTJ)
*The metallic and pearl designations should refer to a special deco and packaging combination for each figure.
KyloCollector on Instragam has shared the first look at the upcoming Vintage Collection Poe Dameron’s X-wing Fighter from The Rise of Skywalker. This vehicle confirms our E9 Medium Vehicle rumor from May with a $99.99 price point. For those curious, it doesn’t include any of the figures shown and we’re still getting the TVC Luke X-wing too.
Last week we exclusively revealed that there is another 6″ Black Series figure from The Mandalorian en route to the US., and after some additional digging today, I’ve been able to confirm that the character code named “BOBBY” is IG-11.
Big Jim reports finding the new 5” Galaxy of Adventures First Order Driver with Treadspeeder and his local Meijer. This is one of a few new scale vehicles set for launch on Triple Force Friday.
9/13: Some additional poking about has also led us to the fact that the new 6″ Black Series Luke Skywalker from Return of the Jedi (which we discovered back in May) will probably be a deluxe release and with a higher price point (similar to General Grievous) than the standard Black Series figure. Still no word on exclusivity or what extras Luke may include.
Update 9/16: Unfortunately, I cross-referenced this figure with another yet to be revealed deluxe figure. ROTJ Luke will feature a standard box size and price point release. Sorry about the mix up. 🙁
A character code name has been holding out on being deciphered since we started uncovering them back in February. Our digging has accurately confirmed them all thus far, but “BOSTON” has eluded us — until now. Click on through to check out the list of all that we have deciphered so far plus the reveal of this new figure’s possible identity.
We’ve received and read several reports of collectors receiving their shipments of convention exclusives from Hasbro Pulse with varying degrees of damage. Boba Fett with crushed blisters, Jedi Legacy packs with folded over/creased upper tabs due to being packed into small of a box, and Sith Trooper boxes crushed or torn. Hopefully these reports are in the minority, especially with the lengths collectors had to go through to even be able to order them (aside from the Luke Set).
It appears that Target will be receiving an exclusive 6″ Black Series figure for the launch of merchandise on Triple Force Friday. An entry in their system lists a figure “Huck1 Copper” with a price point of $24.99. Based on what we know on code names, this is The Mandalorian and based on the leaked “Graphite” version of the Second Sister Inquisitor, the figure and packaging will probably feature a copper-like finish as well. For those keeping track, this will make another known variant joining Graphite, Pearl, and Red Metallic.
