Soon, Mattel will be releasing a Commemorative Series of Star Wars Hot Wheels vehicles to celebrate the 9 film Star Wars saga. These special vehicles will have a raw (ZAMAC-like) finish and as a special bonus, will each include a part to build a Death Star. You can see in our Master List the 9 vehicles being released. The first case mix can be preordered now through Entertainment Earth.

Hasbro has released official images for 4 new characters that include BB-8, Porg, First Order Stormtrooper and Supreme Leader Snoke. Disney has officially announced that Galaxy’s Edge will be opening on May 31 in Disneyland and on August 29 at Walt Disney World.
The first barge orders have started to arrive to collectors. Frank L. posted a few shots on Facebook but one of note has already sparked some discussion. There is no styrofoam corners in inside the box to prevent the Barge’s gorgeous box from damage. I suspect a few horror stories will be shared as a result of this.
Big Bad Toy Store has opened preorders for Jabba’s Sail Barge — $1,199.99 with a non-refundable of $240.
Per our link reveal a couple weeks ago, Walmart has populated the page for their Exclusive Jabba’s Palace Adventure Set. The price is set at $49.67. Hopefully it will be available for order soon.
Hasbro Pulse via Instagram is now taking votes for what figure collectors would like to see immortalized in the 6″ Black Series line for the 40th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back. Voting closes Friday, March 8.
