Beginning on Wed. Morning, Disney and Lucasfilm launched their full marketing “force” behind the merchandise for Rogue One. Articles published via EW.com and USA Today show several products from Hasbro, Funko and Disney Store and more that tie directly to the first standalone film in the Star Wars universe. Watch for more product announcements and preorders in the coming days.
Jedi Insider alerts collectors (by way of Robot Kingdom) that a new wave of 3.75″ Black Series is coming soon to Walmart. The wave consists of Ahsoka Tano, Admiral Ackbar, Emperor’s Royal Guard and General Lando Calrissian – all of which are repacks from The Vintage Collection.

Rebelscum forum member “Nighthawk” has posted new images from the packaging for Hasbro’s Rogue One U-Wing and TIE Striker vehicles that shed light on the NERF launching features of both fighters. It appears that the launcher for the U-wing is retractable (not removable) and the TIE’s is a fixed position cannon. These were found at retail in Canada ($59.99-$69.99).

Everything looks better in Vintage. The latest product to receive a Kenner packaging homage is Funko’s POP! bobblehead line. These custom vintage boxes were created by the talented designer John Lucas Reyes at Riverspoons Studios. Head on over to their Facebook page for the full gallery.

First leaked back in May, Hot Toys has posted details and images (via Facebook) for their upcoming 1:6 Scale Finn “FN-2187” (First Order Stormtrooper Version) figure. Look for preorders to go live on SideshowToy.com in the near future.
Jedi Temple Archives is reporting that Hasbro decided to postpone the release of the 6″ Black Series Princess Leia Organa figure (originally due later this year) possibly to work out some quality issues with the fit and finish of the product.
