Hopefully this is an isolated case, but Yakface staffer Jodo received his new TVC Poe’s X-Wing today, and the back engines were severely warped. Mine also came in the mail today, and didn’t have this problem. Several pics of both of our X-Wings are posted in the forums.
Anyone else noticing any quality control issues with this X-Wing? Let us know, and what your overall thoughts are for this new ship if you’ve gotten your hands on one by now.
Absent from most retailers thus far is Poe’s X-Wing. However, Yakface reader i_kick did find it today at Barnes & Noble (along with the new wave of TVC figures).
If you pre-ordered The Black Series Emperor Palpatine with throne via Amazon, be checking your inbox as yours might be en route to your home a little earlier than expected.
Mine was slated for an October 9 delivery, but has been moved up to this weekend (some lucky individuals received theirs earlier this month).
A new Yakfinities Customizing Challenge will commence in October.

If you have a Burlington Coat Factory store in your area, it might be worth stopping by to check out their toy section. The above 2-pks are $4.99 and the 4-pack is $8.99. Good luck!
Five Below continue to be a haven for heavily discounted Star Wars merchandise, as TBS 6 inch Poe and Finn figures from The Last Jedi are showing up there now. Priced at $5.00 each.
Happy toy hunting, and for those that customize the 6 inch scale, it’s pretty hard to beat these discount prices.
Forum member Joosk has shared some concept TVC cardbacks that’s he created in our forums. Check them out here.
Personal Note: These are awesome… but sadly, it seems doubtful Hasbro is going to explore adding this kind of variety of figures in The Vintage Collection… but we can dream, right?
Hasbro has extended funding for their Transformers Haslab project by over 30 days to help the market meet the goal of 8000 units backed.
At the time of the extension, the Unicron project was in the ballpark of being 60% funded… which is a very impressive amount of backers; but what does this mean for future projects? How will they “pick and choose” which ones get extensions moving forward?
Share your thoughts, hopes, and potential fears for what this could mean down the road.
If you’re looking to add more figures to your collection at low prices, Tuesday Morning stores are receiving 2-pks from The Last Jedi and Solo: A Star Wars Story and marking them for $4.99-$5.99 each. A variety of Funko Pop! items can be found too for around the same price (several themes, not just Star Wars).
