Lucasfilm Issues Statement Regarding Controversial GQ Photos
We’re sure you’ve seen or at least heard of the recent controversy surrounding some racy images published by GQ Magazine involving a couple Star Wars characters. We won’t be publishing the images or the links here due to the varied ages of our readership, but Lucasfilm has issued the following statement.
It’s not surprising that GQ would want to capitalize on the cultural cachet of Star Wars, but Lucasfilm and Disney did not authorize, participate in or condone the inappropriate use of our characters in this manner.
Han Solo Anthology Film Announced
Disney and Lucasfilm today have officially announced the Han Solo Anthology film. Directed by Christopher Miller and Phil Lord (The Lego Movie) and screenplay by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan. Head to the official site for details and look for Han Solo Anthology in theatre May 25, 2018.

Star Wars #7 Stormtrooper Action Figure Variant Cover
The ever expanding list of action figure cover variants for Marvel’s Star Wars series continues with the Stormtrooper for issue #007. Like the others, this variant features the work of John Tyler Christopher giving the cover a Vintage Kenner inspired design with a realistic twist. Look for it at your local comic shop on July 29.

StarWars.com YouTube page has launched a new preview for this weekend’s Star Wars Rebels: The Siege of Lothal movie. It features Darth Vader is some impressive piloting force the crew of the Ghost to go on the defensive.
