Like it or not, Hasbro’s probably not going to move away from 5POA for a while in the 3.75″ lineup. But, maybe there’s a better way for them to entice the market to purchase more of these figures.
Would a set of alternate arms be a good way to do this? For myself, yes, this would be a very fun way for Hasbro to make this product line much more appealing as it would help aleviate some of the frustrations with the 5POA concept.

Columbia Sportswear has revealed (via USA Today) a limited edition selection of Rogue One inspired jackets for Jyn Erso ($400), Cassian Andor ($500) and Death Trooper ($450). The pricing is exorbitant but they look great. Click each name for high-res images.
Tamashi Nations has presented several new S.H.Figuarts figures at Tokyo Comic Con. Figures include Padmé Amidala (Geonosis Arena), Obi-Wan Kenobi (A New Hope), Han Solo (The Force Awakens) Death Trooper Specialist (Rogue One) and Finn/FN-2187 (The Force Awakens). Click on through to check them out.
With Rogue One, we saw most of the product names shielded with animal designations such as shark, seal, owl, unicorn, etc. Episode VIII product will follow suit adapting the NATO phonetic alphabet with terms like “Victor”, “Tango” and “Foxtrot”. These names have been spotted in databases already so get ready to learn and speculate as to what they may stand for in the film.
Stop. Rumor Time. We’ve received a tad bit of intel regardinga future (not necessarily the next) wave of 3.75″ Black Series figures coming to Walmart next year.
Without spilling the beans fully, I can hint that all four will probably be repacks; two of them are potential army builders, one is a very requested figure from the Original Trilogy offered briefly in the Vintage Collection and one is a perennial favorite.
Any guesses? Leave them in the comment section or forums and stay tuned for more vague rumors and cryptic writings (maybe even for Episode VIII) in the coming days.

Hasbro Pulse has posted a new article breaking down the differences in the various Shoretrooper/Scarif Stormtroopers in Rogue One. Detailing the differences between the standard trooper, squad leader and captain, Hasbro also restates that all three designs will be available in the 3.75″ scale but also expect a 12″ version in the spring.
