For a while now, it has felt to me that Hasbro’s pricing is out of control. I feel that way even more now after going shopping with my son over the weekend when he decided he wanted “more bang for his buck.”

Volkerc has posted another batch of Hasbro goodies at starwars-figuren.com, which really show that the last SA figures before the new launch this Fall have gotten back to the awesome TVC quality of figures that Hasbro is capable of.

Tamashii Nations has updated their site with new images for their upcoming S.H.Figuarts Darth Maul – Sith Apprentice figure. This figure is scheduled for a September 2015 released and should retail for about $50 US.

Q: The Black Series line, as it is, is it continuing on to 2016 and beyond?
A: Yeah we have no plans to stop Black Series. It’s doing really well for us. We revealed the new Fall 2015 line look. It’s moving forward. We’ve had a lot of fans ask about Vintage and Droid Factory, both things we definitely want to get back to in the future but Black Series in terms of our pinnacle figure expression, that’s what it is and that’s how it’s continuing.

Images have been recently published via Sideshow Freaks showing the imminent announcement of 1:6 scale Movie Masterpiece Series Luke Skywalker (A New Hope) and Princess Leia Organa figures.
