Collectors concerned about old 6″ product clogging pegs at Target can breathe easy as we have news that a new DPCI has been issued for the 6″ Black Series assortment especially for the Force Friday launch of The Last Jedi products.
SW E8 Black Series 6″ Assortment: 087-06-1922
Speculation and rumors have been circulating for a while regarding the characters selected to represent The Last Jedi in the 3.75″ Black Series assortment. We’ve had a discussion recently with someone that has shed some light to this and on their availability.
We have received additional details, confirmations and some new reveals for a list of Target DPCIs that we shared back on July 2 (you can see the original article here). Click on through for the new info.

As we continue to gather info regarding the details of the products for Force Friday’s launch of merchandise for The Last Jedi, I thought I’d try to give some additional details regarding a few of the new figures and vehicles.
Let’s start things off with the 6″ Black Series Kylo Ren
As Yoda said, “Difficult to see. Always in motion is the future.” but we now believe that the “alien” in wave 2 of the 6″ Black Series may in fact be someone else entirely and NOT Chewbacca as we previously theorized. You may have noticed that some Walmart stores are resetting their sections for “The Black Series” and making extra space now for more 3.75″ figures.
Are you seeing this in your area? Could this mean some of the more “in-demand” figures in the classic scale will be arriving at retail soon (or to conincide with Force Friday)? Share your thoughts in the forums!
After some exhaustive searching through Brickseek, I managed to find the Walmart SKUs and UPCs for the upcoming 6″ Black Series Deluxe Luke Skywalker with Landspeeder and Rey with Jakku Speeder. Look for these on shelves around Force Friday (Sept 1).

A couple weeks ago, we posted a preliminary leaked list of possible 6″ Black Series figure planned for release for Force Friday II. In light of the recent 3.75″ leaks and the attributed code names, we think we can clearly determine who is who and who is NOT coming in the initial launch. Click on through for the updated list.
Again, nothing is official until confirmed by Hasbro or leaked product continues hitting shelves (whichever comes first).
It seems like there is even more confusion surrounding how “exclusive” the 3.75″ Black Series figure are to Walmart. You read our previous post about older assortments being available through comic distributors, but according to Steve Evans at Hasbro, Walmart is retaining exclusivity through the remainder of 2017 via this SDCC QNA exchange between Hasbro and From4LOMtoZuckuss.
“For ’17 we’re definitely carrying on our relationship with Wal*Mart Black Series exclusive line just as is until the end of the year.”
JediNews send us word that the previous Walmart exclusive assortments of 3.75″ Black Series are now being solicited to comic shops via Diamond’s Previews catalog.
