If you have been following along with our recent episodes of The Realm Recap, you’ll be familiar with the fact that I recently acquired a gorgeous custom 6’ Prototype Boba Fett from talented customizer Chris Veach. As I alluded to in the show, I thought how cool would it be to have a custom box to go along with it. So, after some quick prototyping (pun intended) I came up with a nice design to complement Chris’s work. Click on through for a complete gallery of images.
Yakfinities #50: The Original Trilogy has wrapped up, and we had well over 100 entries, making this one of the best customizing challenges yet! Plus, not only did we have the standard random winners receiving prizes, but we also had two Grand Prize winners walking away with the Amazon Exclusive Droid Factory Wave!
Our good friends at Imperialshipyards.net have kicked off another fun customizing event, this time it’s a no paint kit-bash theme. Of course what that means is no painting on these customs! Find some part swaps and see what you can put together after the jump!
In what might be the ultimate build for the 6″ line, talented customizer Joe Amaro has created a fabulous Jabba the Hutt with Dais and fully articulated Salacious Crumb. It really must be seen to be believed. Click the image above to check out the images at StarWarsBlackSeries.net and his blog to view images of its construction.

For folks looking for second alternative to replacing the less-than-flattering Mara Jade head sculpt, collectors might want to check out the new Inferno Cannon Black Widow figure from the Avengers Assemble line. Click on through for the results.
From the moment the first final production photo hit the web, collectors were up in arms over the head sculpt for Mara Jade. Thankfully there is an extremely easy fix. I picked up a Marvel Universe Black Widow figure from Toys”R”Us today and with zero customization or altering, the head is a direct swap for Mara Jade. What is great about the head sculpt is that the hair is rubbery allowing for full range of neck movement and zero arm/shoulder binding. Click the image above for a closer look and be sure to comment on what you think.
Update: Here is a requested side-by-side comparison shot as well.
