Star Wars Toybox Rey Scale Comparison

I managed to swing by my local Disney Store over the lunch hour to pick up the first wave of New Star Wars Toybox figures that includes Rey, Kylo Ren and First Order Stormtrooper. First off, the figures are much larger than I realized as you can see in the scale comparison image above. The figures boast 14 joints which, for Rey, breaks down as follows: Ball-socket neck, insert-molded/ball-jointed shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles and a swivel waist. That’s 26 total points of articulation!

Look for a full Toyguide entry for Rey and the other figures soon.

New Disney Store Toybox Action Figures

ShopDisney has been teasing a mysterious line of Disney Infinity-inspired figures on their website for the past couple of days and now we have a slightly better look thanks to Toy Run Facebook group member, Jose Rivera.

The new Toybox Action Figure line features 14 points of articulation, accessories and more. Look for these exclusively at Disney Store and ShopDisney.com starting November 3.

Thanks to Corey from First Order Transmissions for the heads up.

UPDATE: Added another image in the comment section.

Depending on how aggressively these are priced compared to Hasbro’s action figures of similar scale, I’m ALL IN on these.

New Disney Store Vehicle and Figure Sets Coming Soon?

It looks like the Disney Store will be offering some new exclusive vehicle with figure sets from The Last Jedi. These small vehicles seem to be reminiscent of old Galoob Micro Machines/Action Fleet in a way. The vehicles and figures are plastic, not die cast. They are not available in the US as of yet but should be soon. Click on through to check out boxed and loose images for Kylo Ren’s TIE  Silencer and Poe’s Boosted X-wing Fighter.

Thanks to Marco A. for the heads-up.
