We have updated the Master UPC/DPCI/SKU List of products that we’re tracking for 2017-2018 with products from Hasbro’s Forces of Destiny line. There is nothing new (yet) in terms of product but we have added the relevant UPCs, Target DPCIs and Walmart SKUs to the list for Ahsoka Tano, Padmé Amidala, and the Rey of Jakku and Kylo Ren Set. Click on through to check out the list.
Instagram follower magnustech sends word that a friend of his found the Target Exclusive 6″ First Order Stormtrooper Executioner on shelf as his store (Bakersfield, CA) but it was register locked. Look for this in your store (hopefully) on Force Friday.
Rebelscum has posted the first look at the Target Exclusive (Tesco in the UK) 12″ Hero Series 6pk set for release on Force Friday. We originally posted details for this set in our DPCIs Decoded article last week. Head on over for a closer look.
Collectors concerned about old 6″ product clogging pegs at Target can breathe easy as we have news that a new DPCI has been issued for the 6″ Black Series assortment especially for the Force Friday launch of The Last Jedi products.
We have another decoded Target DPCI to share today and it was the last one on our original list (posted here). The others were revealed here yesterday. This item is a “Star Wars Galaxy” Multipack that includes one figure from each of the serialized episodes (I-VIII). There are probably some good ol’ evergreen characters that will probably be included in here like Vader and Luke, but who do you think they chose to represent The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi?
The DPCI is 087-06-8398, (which is now active on Brickseek) retail price is $39.99 and has an estimated October 1 release date.
Leave a comment on whom you’d like to see. And yes, they are all basic (5 POA) figures.
Managed to pick up the Princess Leia and Wicket Endor Adventure set over my lunch break at my local Target (Medina, MN). They had these in stockroom as well as the Rey Extendable Staff (which I passed on). As a reminder, retail for the Endor Adventure set is $34.99 with DPCI 087-06-9292. I’ll get my girls to give their thoughts on this set later tonight.
(Sorry if this purchase triggers those (you know who you are) that can’t stand Hasbro marketing to kids or to parents looking to share their love of Star Wars with their progeny.)
Target needs to take a hard look at their DPCI system and how they assign them to particular UPCs as there is no good explanation as to why a Black Series figure from 2015 (let alone Zuvio) should still be twice as much as a figure from 2016.
Today we have some new Target DPCIs to share that tie to the Force Friday II launch and beyond. These codes are listed simply as “Star Wars” through Brickseek, but on Target’s internal systems, some are linked to The Black Series, but we can’t confirm which at this time.
