Facebook user Peter B. has shared that Disney Springs at Walt Disney World now has the new halloween-themed Droid Factory Astromech, R3-BOO17, in stock.
We saw them for The Force Awakens and Rogue One, and since Disney has tipped their hand ever so slightly in announcing official Force Friday II festivities at Disney Parks, we thought we’d share their is speculation of a new Droid Factory 4pk that may or may not include some spiffy new BB Units that have recently been revealed from a different manufacturer. We’ll have to see how this rumor rolls out.
The Disney Parks app has updated this morning listing the new R2-D2 and C-3PO Droid Factory set. It is currently listed as out of stock and there is no mention of it being “in-store only” like Chopper and R-3DO. Keep checking back throughout the day for a status change.
The Disney Park app has repopulated their Droid Factory offerings with a new caveat stating the the new Droid Factory build-a-droid figures like Chopper and R-3DO are now available to purchase in-store only and can not be ordered through the app.

Today while exploring the seedy underbelly of the internet, I came across three as-of-yet to be announced astromech figures that look to be part of a Clone Wars themed Droidfactory set for Disney Parks (note the missing wires on the feet). It is unclear if these will be offered together or individually, or if there is possibly a fourth droid to join them. Click on through for a closer look at R5-S9, R5-P8 and R5-U8/R5-013.
