For several weeks it seems, I have watched in envy as other collectors have shown off their very cool Jocasta Nu figure from Brianstoys… I mean heck, I ordered mine back on July 20, so what’s the deal?
Thanks to a prompt from forum member Grimace, I went ahead and emailed their customer service just a few days ago – and magically my order arrived today.
Coincidence? I think not. So if you’re been sitting around waiting on your order since last summer, it may worth a moment to send them a kind email inquiring about your order. But remember, be nice. Rudeness gets you nowhere.
Our friends at Galactic Hunter have alerted us to a great sale on the Kmart Exclusive AT-ST for only $19.79. A great opportunity to score one if you’ve passed on it thus far. You can also check out our toyguide entry for the complete details.
Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives have received advanced notice that the Toys”R”Us exclusive Vintage Millennium Falcon is dropping down to a more reasonable $179.99 next week.
Our friend JD has sent in a few more images of the Walmart 8-pks revealing that some of those hard to find light-up figures and others (Anakin, Padme, Jar Jar) from Movie Heroes wave 2 will be included in these sets as well. Click on through for a few more images.
We’ve received some additional details (see our original report here) surrounding next week’s Walmart Exclusive 8-pks available for Black Friday starting on Thursday night. Thanks to a Walmart employee we’ve received a few images showing that there are several (as many as 8) different assortments covering figures from the 2010 Saga Legends, 2010 Clone Wars and 2012 Clone Wars lines. Click on through to check them out.
Facebook follower Wesley F. posted on our Facebook wall that he received his Brian’s Toys Exclusive Jocasta Nu today via UPS. For those that ordered early, expect to receive your orders soon as well.
Toys”R”Us Black Friday promos have been revealed and show that those Special Value Offer vehicle 2 packs are going to be on sale for 50% off! The promo starts Thanksgiving Day at 8pm and lasts until Friday at close. If you’ve held off on getting some of these vehicles or, like many, NEED that Mandalorian Assault Transport this may be your last shot at it.
UPDATE: For fans of plush figures and Star Wars Transformers, those large deluxe talking plush figures of Yoda, Vader, Chewbacca and R2-D2 and all Star Wars Transformers figures will also be 50% off.
Walmart’s Black Friday Ad has dropped and it looks like they are going to have an exclusive 8-pack of Saga Legends* figures for $25.00. This promo is available in-store only and after 8pm on Thanksgiving Day.
*As of yet there is no word if the 8 figures are this same in each set or just a cobbled together assortment of overstock. But it’s a sure bet there is nothing worth getting here unless you are looking for troop builders.
PROS: For fans of the series, this is a nice expansion pack in order to get some of the additional troopers for the “Wolf Pack” squad. The deco for Clone Commander Wolffe (and his troopers) is much closer to the actual color as portrayed in the series.
CONS: Since this set is now an online exclusive (previously set to be a Walmart item), collectors may have to pay a little bit extra than if they were to pick this up at retail. Plo Koon only includes his double bladed lightsaber gauntlet whereas it would have been nice to get his standard issue Jedi weapon.
Head to the toyguide for the full image gallery and to judge for yourself whether this latest set is worth adding to your collection.
You can also weigh in with your impressions on the figures we add to our toyguide on facebook and in our forums.
Kmart has placed their Ewok Scouts, Endor AT-ST Crew and the Scout Walker on sale this week for $12.99 and $29.99 respectively. If anyone is looking to army build or were just holding out for a better deal, now may be the perfect opportunity. Promotion valid online as well until November 21.
