For weeks and months now, much of Hasbro’s merchandise, Star Wars in particular, has been held up at the Port of Long Beach due to contract negotiations with union workers. “no toys based on Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Star Wars Episode VII) shown at Toy Fair this year.
Obviously, we know that there’s a huge amount of anticipation for Star Wars toys this year, and we wanted to be forthcoming about this as we know it might make a difference for some of you in regards to travel plans.

Rebelscum has posted a delicious list of products expected from Hasbro for The Force Awakens, nothing particularly specific, but there are some spoilerish product names in there and no sign of a smaller 2.5″ scale replacing tried and true 3.75″ figures.

We’ve seen the official trailer countless times, some great concept art, and even some apparent 6″ scale figure prototypes, but there are so many questions on what direction Hasbro is going to be taking with the toy line for The Force Awakens.
Another cool art image was recently revealed by Indie Revolver, which appears to show a very cool new ship design for the next film. How would this translate into a toy? Pretty awesome, one would think, if Hasbro chooses to make it. Hopefully we’ll get a taste of what’s coming in February during Toy Fair.
