The latest TVC offering is appearing at more Toys”R”us stores across the United States, and will set you back $129.99 if you’re so inclined to pick up this behemoth.
Note to Hasbro/TRU though – if this doesn’t sell all that well, just remember this is the 3rd packaging variation of the AT-AT in the past couple years! We do love the big items but we also need you to throw a well-executed Death Star playset and a Sail Barge into the mix!
TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores have been known from time to time to have some odd markdowns – at times clearancing some items, but leaving others (of the exact same SKU#) at full price.
Forum member darthapathy also recently came across some sporadic markdowns at his local TJ Maxx.
So keep your eyes peeled when at these discount stores – you never know what you may come across, or if it might be marked down cheaper than you think.
There was a time when this hobby was simple – walk into a retail store, and you had a fair chance of finding a Star Wars item you wanted to buy. But for a lot of collectors and kids, those days seem to be a thing of the past.
Is all of this Hasbro’s fault? Probably not. But a lot of collectors, like myself, feel that most of the issues with the hobby today rest squarely on the shoulders of Hasbro.
This rant is my own opinion, but feel free to chime in with your thoughts in our forums – even if you think I’m crazy. Because sometimes the truth hurts. Maybe not as much as jumping on a bicycle with the seat missing, but it hurts.

USA Today, confoundedly, reveals the details and images for this year’s SDCC Exclusive Black Series 6″ Boba Fett with Han in Carbonite.
The special-edition set is priced at $44.99 and will be sold at the Hasbro booth at the San Diego Convention Center July 18-21.

Target has the Class II Vehicles on sale through May 18 for $14.99 (these are the controversial “mid size” vehicles consisting of the Slave I, Kenobi Starfigher and Republic Tank). So if you’ve been considering these as a purchase, this is a pretty good price on these… and I for one actually think the tank is kind of cool even at a reduced scale (yes, I know I’m in the minority).
The Endor Imperial AT-AT that many of us have been waiting to see at retail is finally showing up at Toys”R”us stores here in the states – thanks to forum member AaylaSecurasMan for the heads up!
Our friends at Jeditemplearchives are reporting more finds of last year’s Wal-Mart exclusive Vulture Droid and Dewback at Ross stores for $13.99 each (complete with Wal-Mart exclusive stickers!).
If you’ve been holding out on these, this is a great price for some of the better product from 2012.
