Ever since it was revealed that the SDCC Exclusive Death Star Set was to include a black variant of the Rebel Commando, collectors have wonder if that version was going to be available at retail. Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives have received photographic evidence confirming it will indeed be shipping in revision cases.

Target Exclusive Battle Packs Hit Clearance
Target stores are starting to clear out their old exclusive Clone Wars Battle Packs, hopefully to make room for their upcoming Fall exclusives.
As always your mileage may vary, but if you’re in the market for marked down figures, you might want to check those clearance endcaps next time you’re in a Target store!
Vintage Overstock Pull Update
Hasbro’s purge of Wave One and Wave Two Vintage pegwarmers that have been killing the line has hit the St. Louis area, as today I discovered a store that is starting to finally see some relief from this distribution nightmare. The pegs were bare! Crazy to think that seeing EMPTY PEGS is a positive sign!
Let’s hope this becomes a common occurrence around the country, and that the measures Hasbro is taking to try and save the line pays off – share your thoughts in the forums!
Unofficial Top 20 at Jedi Defender
JediDefender has jumped on trying to determine what the Top 20 Fans’ Choice figures list might look like by scouring the participating sites and applying Hasbro’s scoring to each figure. This should give collectors a good indication as to what we’ll be voting on next month. It goes without saying (but we will) that we are pleased that Yak Face has indeed made the cut and is currently within the top 10! Head on over to see if your favorites made the Top 20!
Vintage Wave 9 Hits Target in MN
A local collector friend “GrandMoffNick” managed to score the new Bastila Shan, Echo Base Trooper, Ponda Boba, Keyan Farlander as well as Revenge Vader, Luke and Ackbar at his local Target here in Minnesota. It looks like Target’s purge of old stock is starting to pay off!
Domino Squad “Cutup” Revealed?
Looks as if we are in store for at least one more clone trooper from Domino Squad as eBay Seller “Tunghori” has posted a listing for “Cutup”. He has several available so this appears to be a mass produced item and not a simple custom.
Thanks to forum member “Grimace” for the heads up.

End of the Fans’ Choice Poll Draws Near
There is less than 4 hours until we close the voting in our forums for the Yakface/Hasbro Fans’ Choice Poll! We’d like to thank all that have participated thus far and hope that one of your selections makes the list Hasbro and Star Wars Insider publishes next month. Finally, to those readers who felt slighted by our take on the Fans’ Choice Poll, your opinions and concerns haven’t gone unheard and we hope your lists found a home at any/all of the other sites participating in the Fans’ Choice Poll.
Toyguide Update: CW60 Kit Fisto
The Yakface Toyguide updates resume today with the addition of Kit Fisto in Cold Weather Gear (CW60) from The Clone Wars Collection.
PROS: Hasbro delivers yet another all-new Kit Fisto for the Clone Wars line. The sculpt overall is fantastic with a lot of detail worked into the leg wraps and head. The additional removable accessories are a nice surprise considering this is supposedly a “kid-focused” line. Fits into the most recent Jedi Starfighter cockpit (sold separately).
CONS: Because of the design of the head, the neck joint has a very limited (to the point of non-existent) range of motion. Small accessories, especially the goggles, all but guarantee being lost within the first few hours of play so having them sculpted to the figure might have worked better in the long term.
Head to the toyguide for the full image gallery and to judge for yourself whether this figure is worth adding to your collection.
You can also weigh in with your impressions on the figures we add to our toyguide on facebook and in our forums.
