Hot Toys Unveils 1:6 Scale Millennium Falcon Cockpit

Just when you thought your collection couldn’t get any bigger, Hot Toys has announced their first step into a larger world of collectibles with the Millennium Falcon Cockpit environment for 1:6 scale figures.

Hot Toys has been introducing a number of finely detailed and meticulously crafted collectible figures from the beloved Star Wars series and now Hot Toys is raising the bar once again to bring Star Wars fans some astonishing collectibles of the saga’s spacecrafts in 1/6th scale!

An incredibly detailed prototype of the Millennium Falcon’s cockpit will makes its first appearance at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con this week, so don’t miss the chance to check it out at Booth #1929 during the event!

Kotobukiya had one of the most stunning booth displays at Star Wars Celebration 2015.  Their Art-FX+ display of dozens of Stormtroopers standing at the ready, with Royal Guards and Vader at the fore, was truly a spectacular sight to behold.  They also continued to grow this line of tenth-scale statues with their celebration exclusive K-3PO and R3-A2 droid pack.  Marjorie and Arnie review those new droids, as well as the Royal Guard Art-FX+ two-pack, in this episode of Star Wars Action News!

The Realm Recap is back after the Memorial Day Weekend bring and in our absence, there were plenty of developments in collecting. Collectors success at retail has started to improve as more folks are finding Black Series figures (in both scales) at their local stores. eBay caused a bit of a frenzy this week as a notorious seller posted the first auction for a collectible from The Force Awakens — a 6″ First Order Stormtrooper which closed at a ridiculous price. Is it legit??? Also this week, new store finds from LEGO, product news for Disney Infinity 3.0, custom 6″ figures and vehicles as well as a new character name revealed fro The Force Awakens! It’s all on Episode 63 of The Realm Recap!

Hot Toys 1:6 MMS Luke Skywalker (A New Hope) Details

Hot Toys has released details for their upcoming 1:6 Scale Movie Masterpiece Series Luke Skywalker (A New Hope) figure*. Click on through for the features and images and watch for the preorder announcement soon from Sideshow Collectibles.

*Hot Toys gives the caveat that these are prototype images. There are a few items to address here, hopefully they include the proper lightsaber hilt as the one shown is from The Empire Strikes Back, not A New Hope.

Episode 451: Hot Toys Stormtroopers – Shiny and New

Hot Toys’ line of Movie Masterpiece 12-inch scale figures continues to grow. Luke and Leia have been teased, and recently they shipped their first non-exclusive figure: The Stormtrooper, sold individually and in a two-pack. Andrew has them in hand and is here with an in-depth review.

Also in this week’s show is a discussion of the “cancelled” wave of Droid Factory figures that inexplicably appeared for sale at Go! Calendar stores across the country. Johnathan has them in hand and gives his thoughts, as well as a report of what he’s finding in stores.

With Brock reviewing Paul S Kemp’s new novel Lords of the Sith, Steve the Gingerprince giving a report from Star Wars Fan Fun Days, and Arnie and Marjorie recording live at Wizard World St. Louis, it’s all in this week’s Star Wars Action News podcast!
