Rumor Report: More Vintage Collection Figures
There is one 3.75″ Black Series figure that has been highly requested for re-release since it was so difficult to find when Walmart held its exclusivity. Collectors can breathe a sigh of relief that the Rogue One Scarif Stormtrooper will be getting the “TVC” treatment. Another character joining the collection is rumored to be Leia in Boushh Disguise. It is unknown if it’s an all-new version or repacked (from 2015) but is probably the latter as the line is balancing repacks with all-new sculpts. Expect these along side Yak Face and Klaatu in 2019*.
*I sure hope these don’t get cancelled.
Back the Barge Update: 6000 And Rising
Just because the barge has reached its goal of 5,000 orders doesn’t mean the campaign’s over and we’ve forgotten about it. It’s currently sitting at 6,159 barges sold, and with 2 days left, it may finish near 7,000. Don’t miss out on this opportunity. #backthebarge
Achievement Unlocked: Sail Barge Greenlit for Production
You did it! The required number of orders needed to proceed with the production of the Vintage Collection Jabba’s Sail Barge (with exclusive POTF Yak Face) has been reached and with 4 days to spare! If you still want one (or another one) and haven’t backed yet, you have until 11:59 pm on April 3 to make your decision.
Anything Worth Doing….
Eagle-eyed commenter Jeff recently noticed that the image of Yak Face used on Hasbro’s mockup for the exclusive Power of the Force version (included with the Sail Barge) is not the same stock photo originally used for the 1985 version. Hasbro design team, if you’re going to do this thing, can you revise the art to better match the original release?
