Gentle Giant Reveals 2017 Convention Exclusives

Gentle Giant has given PG members the first look at their upcoming 2017 convention exclusives: the Han Solo (Ralph McQuarrie) Mini Bust and the Jumbo Kenner Dianoga Trash Monster (complete with Vintage style box and trash compactor foam)!

As a PG Member, you get the first opportunity to secure these prior to their public availability.

40th Anniversary Product Images Online

Since I’ve received dozens of emails, links and images, I’ll state openly here that images for (some) the 40th Anniversary 6″ figures have shown up across social media (via Amazon.com.mx). We won’t be sharing the images publicly per Hasbro’s request. We will say the images confirm the some of the rumors, so watch VERY SOON for preorders to go live on these items and for their full (official) reveal this weekend at Toyfair in New York.

Update: Amazon Mexico has pulled down their links and images for those figures.

PGM Jumbo Han Solo in Carbonite Chamber Packaging

Gentle Giant has sent out to its PG Members a preview of the final packaging for the upcoming Jumbo Kenner Han Solo in Carbonite Chamber announced back in April. And Then There Were Two….

The Vintage Kenner line holds a place of reverence for many collectors to this day — especially the first 12 figures. Over the years we’ve received many different iterations of those characters but two have yet to be represented in the “modern scale” of collecting. What better way to usher in the 40th Anniversary of Star Wars than to have a special assortment of figures paying homage to the line that started it all?
