More New Goodies at Target
After one of the largest droughts in modern Star Wars collecting history, new Star Wars items are being found (mostly at Target so far), including the very cool new Mos Eisley Cantina by Lego. While not all Target stores have officially put these items on the shelves yet, some have (and the most others have them in their stockrooms by now for imminent aisle resets). So keep your eyes peeled, and hopefully many of you have been saving your collecting dollars for the influx of new product that is about to bombard the toy aisles!
Rebels Items Hitting Target
Some Target stores are beginning to put out new Rebels product in advance of official store resets. Today I came across some new Lego sets and some of the new Star Wars Command line. If you have a Target store in your area it may be worth your while to swing by and see what you come across, but remember your success rate will likely vary as today I was turned down by a store to get me a new Black Series Deluxe Jabba, even though the store had them in the back (which I think many of us have had similar experiences in the past with that).
MTV Reveals LEGO Star Wars Rebels Wookiee Gunship
MTV.com gets a SDCC reveal this week with the announcement of the LEGO Star Wars Rebels Wookiee Gunship set.
As featured in the Star Wars: Rebels animated TV series, this amazing battle-ready craft has loads of weapons to see off any invading force, like movable front cannons and an elevating top cannon. When the action really heats up, raise the wings into attack mode and unleash the never-before-seen rapid shooters! If you run low on ammo, open the side hatches to access the spare supply, then lower the rear bay door and unload the mobile gun post. UPDATE: SDCC Exclusive LEGO Star Wars Rebels “The Ghost”
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that LEGO will be offering an exclusive, smaller version of the Ghost from Star Wars Rebels
The Ghost starship from “Star Wars.” Each is priced at $39.99 and Lego will sell 1000 of each set during the show, capped at 250 per day.
