Speaking of Force Link, look for improvements to the technology as well in 2018 with the potential for more phrases and sound effects. We’re learning that it may be called, unsurprisingly, “Force Link 2”.

Rumor Report: Black Series Packaging Revision for 2018
Rumor suggests that we will see a packaging revision for the 6″ Black Series in 2018. So far, Hasbro has elected to keep the same basic profile/shape since it’s inception. What do you think? Is a total reinvention/rebranding warranted, something akin to the Marvel Legends line, or should they keep the box and simply change the accent color?
Rumor Report: New 12″ Hero Series Figures

Rumor Report: More Black Series Titanium Series Figures?
We saw a new assortment of 3.75″ Black Series Titanium Diecast figures finally hit after months of rumors for Force Friday II, but now it’s time to look beyond The Last Jedi. The untitled Han Solo movie is set to hit in May 2018 (for now) and we know that Lando will have a significant role in that film. As a refresher for the character, it would make sense to offer a version of him in his iconic outfit from Cloud City. And where there’s one, there should be more, right?
Rumor Report: Another Exclusive 6″ Black Series Deluxe Figure
A few weeks back, Jedi Temple Archives leaked an image and listing for a 6″ Black Series Deluxe Luke Skywalker with Ahch-To Island base coming exclusively to Target (DPCI and price can be found here). We now have intel regarding the (obvious) companion piece for Luke and it will be available at different retail destination later this year. Budget an extra $5 on top of Target’s deluxe figure price.
Rumor Report: Will The Distribution Problems of TFA Repeat on FF2?
We are less than a week away from the official Force Friday launch of products for The Last Jedi, there is worry among collectors that the distribution problems that plagued the launch for The Force Awakens will present themselves once again. Rumor Report: Retailer Exclusive Force Link Vehicles
There’s word that various retailers will be offering exclusive vehicles with figures that are compatible with the unique Force Link system. If you think back to the vehicle exclusives released for The Force Awakens, you would be right on the mark.
There is Another… Playset… sort of
As we speculated a couple weeks ago, there is a version of the BB-8 2-in-1 Mega Playset that includes the Force Link bracelet. We’ve seen the version without the bracelet leaked via Amazon.es but now you can see the second version in alternate packaging has leaked out and is on-shelf at Target via an Instagram post from ToyThugShow (swipe left on the Instagram image to see it.)

Rathtar and Probe Droid Sets Found at Kmart
When it rains it leaks. Since Hasbro had these sets on display at SDCC, I feel comfortable is showing images of the Rathtar with Bala-Tik and Probe Droid with Darth Vader have been found at Kmart in Arizona. The Last Jedi “Tango Neon Speeder” Revealed
The last unidentified vehicle that we revealed the other day has been discovered. The listing for “Tango Neon Speeder with Tango Neon Pilot” has hit Kmart in Arizona and is actually a Canto Bight Police Speeder with Canto Bight Police Officer. You can see an image of it on various social media outlets. Thanks to the crew at the Toy Run Facebook group for the heads up.
