Our show returns this week as Flyguy and I discuss the latest in Star Wars collecting and just in time. It appears that the drought is lifting as new product is shipping to and being received by collectors. New Black Series, Star Wars Rebels, and Saga Legends/Mission Series are all starting to show up online and in stores. Sideshow comes through huge this past week with a few preorders that are sure to put a dent in the wallet and Bandai again tempts collectors with their expanding line of samurai-themed figures. Episode VII and Star Wars Rebels gets a few hits this week as principal filming has wrapped on the sequel and we now get a clearer understanding of the Inquisitor’s task by way of new Vader footage on a special telecast of Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion. All has been quiet on the Black Series front in the US, but our neighbors to the south recently had a huge roll out of the Black Series line at Walmart that included the Prototype Boba Fett as well as a slick Limited Edition lithograph. On the other side of the pond, UK collectors are getting Star Wars Rebels action figures by way of Disney Stores as US collectors are still coming up empty. Sideshow and Medicom give us some “Rebels” teases of their own and we highlight a few notable custom pieces — all on Episode 37 of The Realm Recap!

On this very special episode of The Realm Recap, Flyguy and I give our first impressions of all that was revealed from Hasbro at their NYCC ’Twas the Night Before Party. There is a lot to take in this year (for a nice change of pace) with several new offerings from 6” and 3.75” Black Series line, 3.75” Saga Legends/Rebels line and Mission Series assortment. Plus, we get confirmation on a few additional 6” and 3.75 Black Series figures for 2015 and some that have been cancelled.
