The digging continues today and has yielded info for what is described as a “SW RP Scream Saber“. This may be the super-secret lightsaber that was shown off at Star Wars Celebration Chicago last month. As a bit of a bonus, additional sleuthing turned up an IMDb profile for an actress (Aymee Michel) who posed as a packaging model for a product called the “Hasbro Scream Saber”.
Relevant UPC info has been added to the role play section of the Master List.
Following up on my deciphering of the identities of Episode IX characters, I found a listing on Walmart for Hasbro’s new line* of Lightsaber Academy lightsabers: “LSA LVL 2 London Lightsaber“. I think this further supports my theory that “London” correlates to Rey in Lucasfilm’s mystery box surrounding the final chapter in the Skywalker saga. Look for this item and more on Force Friday (October 4, 2019).
We were the first to tell you about these yesterday but Target.com now has the Star Wars Retro Kenner Collection available for preorder. The first wave consists of Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and Stormtrooper. Release date is May 12. Checking more items off our Master List, The Verge is reporting a new series of lightsabers from Hasbro. The Lightsaber Academy – a Bluetooth-enable interactive lightsaber game that uses a saber and an app to train in the ways of the Jedi (or Sith). There are 2 levels of lightsaber (Level 1 – $7.99 and Level 2 – $19.99) and the base set is $49.99. Head on over for the full details.
Toy Fair 2019 is this weekend and things are kicking off on Saturday with Hasbro and LEGO. There are bound to be a few surprises coming aside from the product we’ve rumored, but I’ll leave you with this:
