Action Figures in Demand Vs. Hasbro’s Lines
Last week, I began to feel some of my worst fears for the Black Series were coming to fruition as I see so few retailers ordering new product for the Christmas shopping season.
By contrast, there are action figure lines that are thriving; so don’t let Hasbro fool you into thinking that kids don’t like action figures anymore, or they don’t like articulation… as those of us know who check more than the Star Wars section, other toy lines like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are constantly selling out and being restocked these past several months.

Concept of the Week #6
We kick off another Concept Series idea by localgotal today, and this one is nothing short of fantastic… it’s 4 all new figures from A New Hope… ones that we’ll probably never see Hasbro make, which is a shame… because these would rock as an exclusive box set. I doubt many of us would pass on this set… I’d buy at minimum, three of these sets.

The State of The Black Series
Here we are, just a couple weeks away from Christmas – and there are warning signs all over that The Black Series may be in trouble.
Retailers simply aren’t stocking anything past the first wave of 3.75″ scale figures even during the holiday season, while online stores like Amazon are marking down figures from the first two waves for as little as $2.55 each. This doesn’t seem to bode well for the future of this line.
