Flyguy and Yakface are back once again to grind through the week’s Star Wars collecting news. On this show, we discuss the big reveal from Hasbro regarding two new Star Wars Rebels figures being added this fall. We also discuss the latest arrivals online and at retail including the Bossk wave of 6″ Black Series figures. Disney has released their merchandising catalog for Star Wars Weekends 2015 and it features a few great items collectors will surely want to track down. Digitally sculpted by the master artisans at Gentle Giant Ltd., the AT AT Mini Bookends features the mechanical monstrosities as they were seen traversing the terrain on the planet Hoth in pursuit of the Rebel Alliance. Crafted using only the highest quality polystone, each limited-edition hand-painted bookend set comes individually numbered and is packed with a matching certificate of authenticity.

Black Series Vader Neck Issue Fixed

Despite opinions to the contrary, the Black Series Darth Vader (#26) suffered from a horrible neck design that essentially rendered the figure to “look, don’t touch” status. We are very happy to share that Hasbro has indeed addressed the known issue (by their admission) and the Black Series #03 Vader now features an updated sculpt with longer neck peg.
