We kick this Monday off on a bit of a positive note – some more creative energy from our forum members through some fan-fiction photonovels!
First off, hangarbay has released another chapter in his ongoing X-Wing Alliance series, which includes a tense battle with Imperial Stormtroopers aboard a Star Destroyer – check it out here.
Need some more OT goodness? Form member jlw515 has also posted a new chapter in his Vader’s Quest series, which entails the perspective of the Galactic Civil War from all angles – including hotshot Rebel pilots. Click here for this latest update.
Last but not least, Darth Depressis has wrapped up two more chapters in his post-ROTJ series, where the Clone Emperor is determined to regain control of the galaxy – check out his lastest installments, Defenders of the Dark EmpirePart One and Part Two.
Barely a month after new product hit the shelves, some Wal-Marts are already putting some of Hasbro’s new line on clearance. It seems like some retailers are realizing that vastly inferior repacks from a decade ago aren’t in demand; especially at inflated prices – how long before Hasbro realizes this too?

We would like to remind all the customizers out there of a tribute we are running in honor of a good Yakface friend who passed away last summer – a multi-site customizing event that was in the works by a collector know around the forums as MercuryArtStudios. We were shocked and saddened last summer when he tragically lost his life in a car accident.
Mike Martinez left behind a great following in the customizing community and touched a lot of people. In his memory, we wanted to see through an Evolution style themed customizing contest that he had been planning – so we have teamed up with two other sites he was active at to make this happen. We are proud to work with the great folks at Echo Base News and Imperial Shipyards to host this customizing event.
To help encourage participation, we’ve also gathered a great pool of prizes – for more information and rules of entry, click here!
Forum member Scarrviper has posted images of one of the most amazing dioramas I’ve ever seen in the forums. Make sure you’re sitting down for this one, because it’s nothing short of spectacular – check it out after the jump!
The Original Trilogy era is finally here in the Rykrof Enloe saga, with the premier of the first installment in The Enloe Trials Photonovel Series. Check out the beginning to an all new series of adventures after the jump!
Forum member StooperZero also ran across TVC figures marked at $4.00 each at his local Wal-Mart, and I saw the same thing at three different stores in the St. Louis area today as well, but of note, in my area at least the clearance only applies to the 2010-2011 line.

Our friends at Jeditemplearchives.com are reporting that the brand spankin new Class I vehicles have been spotted at retail here in the United States – click on the image above for their report!
Forum member Paulskywalker also found these in the UK recently, so hopefully this is a sign of good things to come with the 2012 distribution!
Forum member darthmac has completed his amazing custom diorama of Jabba’s Throne Room – this sucker is breathtaking and will make you envious! Check it out and leave him some feedback for his hard work after the jump!
While checking out a clearance endcap at Target today, I saw a vintage 3-pk marked down to $9.98 (or something like that)… I had bought a few of these last week at the same store for this price, and decided to scan this one on the off chance it was marked down to 75% off now… instead, it rang up at $24.99! This was the old, dusty Needa-Dengar-AT-AT Driver set… strange, eh?
And also today, according to our friends at Jedidefender.com, this is a new DPCI number, 087-06-1172 – hopefully soon we’ll find out more details regarding some sets of new figures… though the price increase certainly isn’t welcome!
