Ever since Hasbro released photos of the VC #15 Clone, I was afraid it would bomb at retail because of the ginormous helmet, and bulky body sculpt. A bad situation was made worse when most of the figures ended up with lemon-yellow helmets before they even made it to the pegs.
Being very frustrated with this for over a year now, I finally rolled up my sleeves and found a very simple way to make a much better Phase II Clone Trooper. Not only is it one of the easiest custom modifications I’ve ever seen, it’s also one of the most effective.
This change literally only takes a few minutes. So check out how to do this for yourself and finally have the Phase II Clone Trooper that Hasbro should have made after the jump!
The 4th wave in The Vintage Collection never seemed to reach full distribution, but some cases now appears to be making their way through the pipeline finally. Our friends at Jeditemplearchives are reporting sightings of this wave at Wal-Mart, and I saw the same thing today at a St. Louis area Wal-Mart.
So if you’re in the hunt for any of these figures still (and some are really good), keep your eyes open for this wave.
And remember to keep sharing details of your Recent Acquisitions in the forums!
With each passing week, we’re inching closer to the new Wal-Mart exclusive Discover the Force line being released, which to the delight of collectors has several all new sculpts included in it.
This wave is tied to The Phantom Menace promotion, and we’re curious to see what figure is the most anticipated by Yakface readers.
