Read anything good on the internet lately? Me neither. So let’s change that (yes, I’m overselling it). After 20+ years of reporting toy news for Hasbro via the info generously doled out through press releases and agencies, it appears that Yakface.com has been dropped from the list of those receiving direct communication and promotional materials from Hasbro. Read on for what will and won’t change around here for the foreseeable future. Intriguing!!!
Jedi Temple Archives is back to leaking this week, this time, giving up the slogan for Disney and Lucasfilm’s “Wookiee Weekend” – the marketing launch for next year’s as-of-yet untitled Han Solo standalone film.
K & C Collectibles has added Topps Journey to The Last Jedi, New Force Link figures, First Order Snowtrooperr & Flametrooper from Kotobukiya, LEGO sets, Black Series 3.75″. Click the NEW PRODUCTS link under the Categories Section for a complete list of recently added items.
You may have caught our unboxing video on our YouTube channel last night but in case that isn’t “your thing”, you can now click on through to check out images for the contents of September Smuggler’s Bounty box. And once again, there are errors in this box but overall a fantastic release!
It appears that the 40th Anniversary Darth Vader that is reissued for the standard Black Series release (#43) is more than just a simple repack. The paint operations on the helmet have been updated significantly in order to achieve an even better likeness to the screen-used helmet by adding more silver to the neck seal portion. This makes 3 unique decos for this sculpt (red eyes, dark eyes, and dark eyes/silver neck). Click the image above for a closer look.
