TBS_hoth_luke_variantsm

Speaking of variants, a new figure variant has surfaced that actually improves upon the pre-existing figure. Newer releases of #02 Luke Skywalker (Hoth) now feature color matched (tan) elbow pins. The original VC95 and TBS #02 releases has contrasting gray pins that stood out quite noticeably. Click the image above for a closer look.

As suspected, the initial shipments of the Black Series #08 Stormtrooper that included the “#08” sticker on the card back and bubble insert covering the “#15” have been corrected. My recent case from Entertainment Earth included 2 stormtroopers, both feature this correction. The date stamp is 50651. TRU/SDCC Exclusive Black Series “Rancor Pit” Update

jabba

Rebelscum forum member Holographic_Elvis has posted a new image of the upcoming “Jabba’s Rancor Pit” set in their forums.  Check out the full size image in all its glory here.

He notes that the retail price will be $130, and that it’s marked as a Comic Con product, but we should expect to see them in stores soon.  Is the price just too much for this?  Or are collectors willing to shell out that kind of money for a set of repacks, but with a new Jabba?  Head to our forums to share your thoughts!

Thanks to darthmac for the heads up!
