Off topic a bit here, but if you have a Five Below store in your area, you may want to swing by and see if they are stocking GI JOE figures – the ones in my area just started putting GI JOE Retaliation figures out this week, for the awesome price of $5.00 each.
A lot of the later figures from the “movie line” are really great figures, but sadly were not distributed well (a trend we see with Hasbro these days).
DisneyParks Blog has updated today announcing that the D-Tech Me Experience is returning for Star Wars Weekends (May-June 2014) and have added new options – 7″ Alderaan Princess, X-Wing Pilot (available in male or female bodies) for $99.95 each and 16″ versions as well for $1499.95 each. The Yakface Toyguide updates resume with our next entry in the The Black Series 3-3/4″ line. Today, we take a look at the 91st Reconnaissance Corps leader, Clone Commander Neyo (#16).
PROS: Well done overall, no real stand-out issues that could jeopardize its playability. The sculpting of the specialized armor is, again, quite good but it can be improved.
CONS: Helmet may be slightly oversized, giving it a top-heavy stance. The weathering is slightly odd in its execution as the forearms, torso, belt and helmet don’t really match the other components. Visible/mismatched color pegs for the ankles.
