Sideshow Collectibles has updated today teasing this year’s SDCC Exclusives. All will be revealed next Thursday but head on over now and guess what they are! One is obviously a 12″ Phase I Clone Trooper repaint ; ).

It’s been a big couple of weeks for fans of Star Wars and LEGOS! First, the fan-loved Lego Star Wars video game series had its third installment released. While the first two games covered the events from the movies, the Clone Wars TV Series has extended this franchise’s life as you can play LEGO mini-figs of Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Jar-Jar plus dozens more characters through the events of the first two seasons of the Clone Wars! But even more exciting for Star Wars Lego fans in southern California, Legoland just opened it’s Star Wars Miniland, and Star Wars Action News’ reporter Berent was on hand to cover the event with his son Pharoah, as well as talk to celebrities who share a love for Star Wars, including Gina Lee Nolan, Tony Hawk, Brooke Burke, and Christian Slater! And then Berent talks to Lego Master Builder Gary MacIntyre about the creation of this new LEGO park!

Yak reader Chad Ryan writes in to let us know that he found the Droid Gunship at one of his Target stores near Huntsville, Alabama. Like the Vintage Collection figures, distribution for new vehicles have been pretty hit or miss in some areas. So, if you are still on the lookout for this one, start checking those Target shelves again.
One of the most anticipated figures of 2011 has popped up on eBay… the first listing sold through extremely fast. Keep your eyes posted online for more if you don’t want to deal with Hasbro’s case ratios this summer and the continued distribution problems we are all seeing with this line.
