“Shop In Place” for new Star Wars Figures NExt Week?

With a good portion of the country on stay/shelter in place directives to combat the spread of COVID-19, I wouldn’t be surprised if Star Wars collectors were treated to new product preorders next week. I noticed that a few retailer pages have become active again for TVC figures like Wolffe and K-2SO. The same thing happened just this past Friday afternoon when Hasbro dropped preorders for the new 6″ GIJOE Destro Classified Series figure (which I quickly snapped up from sponsor DorksideToys.) Could Wolffe and K-2SO (and others) be part of the preorders?

In this time of major upheaval in the routines of our lives, we thank you for your continued support of our site and our sponsors.

GameStop Exclusive 6″ Stormtrooper Commander Preorder

If you caught our social media posts about 90 minutes ago (12:25 am CST), you were notified on the opening of preorders for the GameStop Exclusive 6″ Black Series Stormtrooper Commander “Gaming Greats” figure. No release date is given, but if you’re looking to secure one (or more) this is your best bet for now.

And, watch for more Hasbro preorders to launch soon….

Rumor Report Update: TVC Clone Commander Wolffe

Back in February, we exclusively reported 2 new waves of Vintage Collection figure coming later this year* and there has been an adjustment to the name of one of the figures in the first wave. Originally, it was listed as “CL VIN Clone Trooper” on Amazon and
“Airborne/Paratrooper” in other systems. I checked the info again today using the Walmart app and it is now listed as Clone Commander Wolffe. It is unknown if this is a new version or a repack* of the snow gear figure released in the 3.75″ Black Series line.

*Release date may change due to production and shipping delays

Update: He’s not a repack.

Update: New Star Wars 9.5″ Figures from Hasbro

Back in January, we reported the rumor of an upcoming line of 9.5″ figures coded as “Project Olympus” and above is the first look at these figures. As you can see, they are limited in articulation and accessories but great for budget conscious parents and collectors. MSRP is $9.99 each. Click on through for a closer look at the latest segment in Star Wars collectibles from Hasbro.

6″ Clone Commander Bly Variant/Running Change

Left: Original / Right: Running Change

There looks to be a running change for the new 6″ Black Series Clone Commander Bly figure. Initial releases neglected to include the brown stripe on the lower part of the helmet (under the frown). Instagram follower disneyland_bountyhunter sent in the image on the right showing the helmet with the corrected deco (date stamp 93431)

If this sounds familiar, the ROTS figure (III-57) also had this error and subsequent variant back in 2005.
