Episode 399 Part I: Preview Night and The Black Series
Today kicks of San Diego Comic-Con International 2013! On the first part of Star Wars Action News’ coverage join Marjorie and Arnie as they report on Preview Night, with a first-hand look at The Black Series figures in Hasbro’s display, including the new Black Series 6-inch Boba Fett and Han Solo in Carbonite!

Jedi Temple Archives has altered collectors that Amazon’s Exclusive Slave I is on sale for only $69.99. There is no telling on how long this sale will last so get your orders in quickly.

2014 Hallmark Ornaments Revealed
StarWars.com has posted a feature tonight showcasing not only the 2013 Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments, but the 2014 Assortment as well! They include
- An Imperial Scout Trooper from Return of the Jedi.
- The Jawa Sandcrawler as seen in A New Hope.
- The Cantina Band from A New Hope, accompanied by sound from the film.
- Darth Vader’s transformation in Revenge of the Sith.
- The LEGO Star Wars rendition of bounty hunter Boba Fett.
- A Peekbuster motion-detecting ornament featuring Yoda. This will work similarly to the popular Darth Vader Peekbuster released last year.
Life Size Kenner Figures from Gentle Giant
Gentle Giant is holding true to their namesake and are working on articulated, life size versions of the original Kenner action figures. On display at SDCC is the first the Stormtrooper (teased yesterday by YodasNews) and word from Rebelscum is that they are working on Darth Vader featuring its signature vinyl cape and telescoping lightsaber.
Update: Droid Factory Multipack
Our friends at Galactic Hunter have snapped a pic from Hasbro’s booth showing a placard for an exclusive Droid Factory set coming this November for $59.99. It looks to include many of the canceled Build-A-Droids and other from the defunct Droid Factory line. Jedi Temple Archives received word at Toy Fair from Hasbro that they were trying to get these figures to the public, so it’s nice to see it’s coming to fruition.
Update: According to Galactic Hunter, the retail partner for this set is Amazon.com
