Rebelscum has posted a brief image gallery featuring various Star Wars products shown at the UK Toy Fair. Within the images I noticed something strange… it looks as though several different products (Uncle Milton,Dagedar, plush figures) are using stylized Darth Vader with lava artwork for their packaging. Is this our first glimpse at the post-Yoda line look? Stay tuned for more info as it develops.
Long-time reader Scott from Tulsa reports receiving his Jumbo Kenner Luke Skywalker X-Wing Pilot today from Gentle Giant so be sure to watch those doorsteps for yours!
The UK Toy Fair is officially underway and the first awards have been given out predicting the Best New Toys of 2013 and Hasbro’s new Anakin to Darth Vader figure (£24.99) has earned a spot. PROS: Continuing in their tradition of releasing superior product and supplemental accessories, Sideshow outfits their soon-to-be-released Snowtrooper with this signature piece of artillery. The E-Web Heavy Repeating Blaster features a pivoting/rotating cannon, articulated tripod legs, flexible power cord and generator. The entire piece has a weathered gunmetal wash and looks absolutely fantastic in this scale.
CONS: None other than not having the 1:6 scale Snowtrooper in-hand at the time of the E-Web’s release.
Head to the toyguide for the full image gallery and to judge for yourself whether this piece is worth adding to your collection.
You can also weigh in with your impressions on the figures we add to our toyguide on facebook and in our forums.
The following info has just been made available from Gentle Giant courtesy of their Facebook page regarding production changes to the regular edition General Veers mini bust:
The concept for the regular edition of our General Veers Mini Bust changed in development. Originally, the regular edition bust featured General Veers wearing un-removable AT-AT pilot armor. In revising the bust, we decided to display him in his officer’s uniform instead. We failed to keep you updated about the nature of these changes before this piece was released. This was unintentional, and we sincerely apologize for any disappointment and confusion this error has caused. If you are not satisfied with the final product, please return it and we will be happy to issue a full refund.
So, it appears that only PGM Members will be able to get Veers with the interchangeable AT-AT Commander components.

Toys”R”Us is running another BOGO 50% off sale this week, which is a good buy if you can score TVC figures at this price. Especially since they are the only retailer from my experience over the past year that has consistently stocked figures (sales like this will help do that!).
