6″ Black Series Second Sister Inquisitor Leaked

I received a boxed image of the upcoming, yet unofficially announced Second Sister Inquisitor coming in wave 1 for Triple Force Friday. Since I don’t know the origin of the image, meaning it’s not publicly posted, I won’t be sharing it yet.* But I can say the figure has a cool graphite look to it and the packaging features an updated look with round call-out protruding into the window area. She includes a fully-lit Inquisitor lightsaber, I can’t tell if the blades are removable.

*If you’re looking for background as to why I won’t post the image, you can read this from September 2017. Thanks for the requests to post the photo here and/or for me to send it to you.

Confirmed: 6″ Black Series Yoda (Force Spirit)

DamingToys – retailer out of Taiwan has posted the first look at the 6” Black Series Yoda (Force Spirit) which confirms our exclusive report from May.

As always, if Hasbro asks us to remove the image we will but again, this was posted publicly for sale by an online retailer.

UPDATE: DamingToys has removed the product stating they were given the wrong solicitation date and it should be available again on Nov. 1. We have removed the image as well in respect to DamingToys. Watch for an early look at this product soon 🙂

UPDATE 2: I did manage to find shipping manifest info for the 6″ Yoda (Force Spirit) figure and its currently on the way to the Port of Long Beach in California.

More Hasbro Product at Discount Chains

If you’re looking to add more figures to your collection at low prices, Tuesday Morning stores are receiving 2-pks from The Last Jedi and Solo:  A Star Wars Story and marking them for $4.99-$5.99 each.   A variety of Funko Pop! items can be found too for around the same price (several themes, not just Star Wars).

As always, good luck and happy toy hunting.

Haslab Project Updates

Hasbro’s ambitious goal of 3,000 backers for a premium Cookie Monster replica has fallen far short of its goal.

It remains to be seen if their Transformers Unicron project will meet the same fate, but it’s clear there is much more demand for that project.  As of this post, it has just over 5 days left, and is just a tick above 39% funded (needing over 4,800 more units backed still).

Personal Note:   For the fans of these, I hate to see these fail.  However, I think Hasbro needs to do better homework.  I feel that projects under the Haslab banner need to be more in line with the Sail Barge… something that works as a fantastic display piece to house groups of figures.   Big and iconic vehicles/playsets seem to be the way to go…  (or at least not a remake of something that’s been done before, such as Unicron) a Cybertron environment, or Ark playset might be more exciting for the Transformers  crowd.  I have no idea what would work for Sesame Street.  But that’s just my opinion.  And Unicron could still meet its goal, though he seems way overpriced compared to other giant Transformers.

Hasbro To Phase Out Plastic from Packaging By 2022

Hasbro has issued a press release stating that by 2022, they plan to phase out plastic elements like polybags, elastic bands, shrink wrap, window sheets and blister packs.  The company’s ambition is to eliminate virtually all plastic in packaging for new products by the end of 2022. For the details, visit newsroom.hasbro.com

How will this effect the look of iconic action figure lines like the Vintage Collection and Black Series or does the switch to bioPET (from PVC) in bubbles and window boxes already address that initiative?
